'Adverse circumstances'

Right, second entry for the day. Earlier today I went to speak to my course co-ordinator, D. Stafford and handed him a letter from the doctor that stated the seriousness of my health as medium (the doctor had 'mild', 'medium' and 'servere' to choose from, I was quite amused as I watched the doctor type it out from his standard template).

I've had that letter since the 29th of September and I had been contemplating as to whether or not I needed this extension for my final submission... and it wasn't until today that I decided that even if I didn't get that badly needed extension.... I wanted the examiners to know that the reason why I was handing in sloppy and crappy work was due to the stupid cramping of my arm. It sure doesn't help that it's my right arm that goes numb and that I'm right-handed. Or that my course requires me to pick up the pen and draw either!!! So, hopefully that (the letter) would enable me to be graded under 'special consideration' at the very very least.

Yet at the same time I'm not pinning my hope on that letter either... so I'm still aiming to hand in a complete submission on the 10th. In the meantime... I'll just 'try my best' as what D. Stafford says..., fill in the form for 'Adverse Circumstances' and wait for his reply. Till then I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Wish me luck, for I'm going to need all the luck that I can get.
