Disappearing act

Did I ever tell you that I love love love love love my brother to bits? Did I also tell you that my brother is one hell of a guy who will easily sweep your feet away with his smile, his infectious laughter and sense of humour? Did I also mentioned that my brother is so cute-looking that he makes girls swoon?

No, of course I'm not bias just because he is my brother but I am definitely looking forward to seeing and catching up with him when I land back in S!ng@p0r3 tomorrow morning. Boy do I need this week and a half's break away from work badly!

It would also be interesting to note if Pony might miss me while I'm away too. Hehe..

It has just occurred to me how I often I would perform a 'disappearing' act whenever a new relationship is/ might be just beginning to take off... Barely six months into dating BYMC, I took off for nearly five weeks to Laos to help renovate the local maternity/ children's hospital.

Two months into dating AC, I took off for home for a good four weeks. In fact, I don't think I ever spent any of my holidays with AC the whole time that we were 'together'. One of us was always heading somewhere. Well, guess where that relationship headed?

Then there is of course the recent ex, Doc. Nearly six months into our relationship I decided to relocate myself onto another part of the world and put an ocean between us. It's a miracle that we even lasted as long as we did, considering the fact that neither of us believed in long-distance relationships.

As for now... goodness knows if I'm actually even heading anywhere with Pony at the moment. We've been 'dancing' around each other for the last month or so, building up all that tension and chemistry between us as I waited and waited AND waited for him to make the first move. Guess what did I do four days after he finally did? I take off for H0ng K0ng and S!ng@p0r3 for a good twelve days!

Absence is suppose to make one's heart fonder, isn't it?
