Twiddle dee dee

So... with regards to the last entry. It has been sitting in here long enough, just as it has been sitting in my mind long enough for me to say: "Enough is enough" to myself last night, outloud. Somehow by verbalising it outloud often makes it more of a reality for me.

Anyway... I know I haven't been writing much about the ongoings of the wedding plans, etc... apart from a couple of snippets here and there that probably doesn't even make sense to anyone but me and Pony.

Truth is, I've been twiddling my thumbs since the beginning of May... until I received my papers for the invitations, with help from Ang3l & L!nda in late May. There was only this much <-----> that I could continue to work on the invitations and had to stop (for the second time) to await for confirmation from F@ther T..

This was followed by another twiddling of the thumbs as we were re-scheduled a month later (late July) for our last pre-marriage class, in which we were then awarded with our "Cert!f!cate of part!c!pat!on", which enables us to finally put in our paperwork to both the State & Church after Pony had returned from his work trip (in mid-August), print out the final wordings of the invitations (after receiving confirmation on one of the wordings from F@ther T.), putting the invitations together only having to stop once AGAIN for the THIRD time to wait for Pony to be back from his work trip to decide on the 'knots', as yours truly had come up with two 'knots' and could not decide which was better.

Meanwhile in the midst of all that I had a minor flip-out in mid-June that resulted in me battling an emotional 'turbulence' that was raging full-on deep within myself. I'm not sure if the 'battle' is over, but I seem to be winning for the moment.

Are you still following me on the timeline?? Good. Which now brings us to September !

Towards the end of our latest meeting with F@ther T., Pony and I were given a book that helps to plan the order, readings and r!tes of our wedding ceremony. It wasn't until today that I had a decent read through the entire book.

In spite of the book being designed in a "Choose by number" sort of way, there's actually quite a lot of work and reading involved.

This is also the point where I confess that I'm really not much of a good C@th0l!c. I was berated by F@ther T. for being absent at Church (oops!) and even then I've yet to turn up for Mass, not once.

I've always been told by my parents that one does not need to be going to church on a regular basis in order to be C@thol!c, even if it does fall under one of the 'Obligatory' days. My religion, my beliefs, my faith and my relationship with H!m is with H!m alone. No one, not the Church, not my parents, not Pony can dictate what I can and can't do in my relationship with H!m. This is personal and it always will be.

That being said, I doubt F@ther T. will be too impressed with the sort of 'Cath0l!c upbringing' my parents were providing me.

Back to the book, so it looks like there is going to be a lot of reading, typing (up of the guests' participation booklet) and trying to recollect what the exact order of the ceremony is going to be. That and those bl**dly invitations.

Guess there is no more twiddling of the thumbs for me.
