Pony and I woke up to a reddish-orangey hazy-looking sky this morning and discovering that our cars had gone four-wheel driving without us! Turns out that we're being hit with a massive dust storm that is coming in from C3ntr@l Austr@l!a and W3st3rn NSW. Wind gusts of 65km/h has been recorded and is expected to go up to 100km/h or more!
You know, it wasn't until I started living here that I actually experience all the various types of weather adversity (mild ones of course) like hail, fog, floods and cyclones. Weathers where I've only ever seen and heard from/on the news.
Living in S!ng@p0r3 was so much more predictable. Today the weather is either sunny, cloudy, windy or rainy... but never life threatening nor property damaging. At the very most it is annoying, when the bi-seasonal monsoon kicks in and we get continuous rain for days.
It is a good thing neither Pony nor I have asthma or any respiratory problems.
